BEng (Mechanical) (Hons) and BSc (Mining Engineering)
Mr Morgan is a mining engineer and mechanical engineer with 40 years’ experience in the mining industry in Australia and Africa. He has previously held a number of executive development and mine operations roles involving project engineering, maintenance and contract earthmoving for companies such as Rio Tinto, Macmahon and WMC Resources.
He was General Manager Operations for Equigold in Queensland and was also General Manager Mining and Metallurgy for Sundance Resources Mbalam Iron Ore Project.
Mr Morgan was previously a director of ASX listed Discovex Resources Limited and Strickland Metals Limited and is currently non-executive director of ASX listed Nagambie Resources Limited.
Mr Morgan is well acquainted with the Yandal Gold Project, having been closely involved in its development between 2021 and 2024 during his involvement with Strickland.
